I highly recommend The Blindboy Podcast. I found the podcast and Blindboy Boatclub through Laura Kennedy- I love her writing. I get so much from listening to this podcast.
I've been looking for some new podcasts to dig into so this post came at the perfect time 😂 My top 3 without a doubt - The Mel Robbins Podcast, On Purpose with Jay Shetty and I love Powerhouse Women by Lyndsey Schwartz. I've been looking for some more purely for entertainment type listens recently rather than just personal development/business so just started listening Kathryn Ryan 'Telling everybody everything' too!
These are so interesting. I tried with Jay and couldn't get on board and then the exposé came out about him and I was turned off but he does get incredible guests. Kathryn Ryan is absolutely brilliant. She is so astute!
Thanks, just received and read your email and there are some great suggestions for me to try. I love Uncanny by Danny Robins(ghost stories) Elizabeth Day , How to Fail and Runpod by Jenni Falconer. I'm just nearing the end of a round on the EC method so also a fan of ESG fitness podcast too.
I love that you listen to ESG et al too! They are so good. I haven't done Films to Be Buried with or SMA so will try those out today. I did dabble with Armchair Expert but I found the dynamic between the two hosts kind of odd. Need to listen to Help, I Sexted my Boss as I've heard great things. What a great line-up you have!
Yay, I hope you like them!! Can’t get enough of FTBBW, Brett is my absolute favorite human on the planet. If you decide you like SMA, I recommend going back to the beginning and going in order. Certainly not necessary, but I think it’s pretty interesting how they, their family, their careers, and the podcast itself have evolved over 5+ years. But that’s just me. ☺️
On Armchair: yes, it took time for Monica to grow on me, but she has. I love Dax, they have quite interesting guests, and I’ve genuinely learned a lot from that one. I admire you for your news/political podcasts — but fuck me, I just want to laugh! It’s stressful enough just to read the daily news! Hopefully someday I can handle adding some weightier shows to my rotation.
Ok, I’m talking too much, but yes, I love ESG. I’m in the middle of her Commit to 6 right now and it’s already been life-changing. I first heard about her through you, so I feel I should send you a gift basket in gratitude! THANK YOU!
