Hi Emma, like you I have also been on a bit of a mission to get stronger and healthier to help me through my later years and could definitely do with loosing about a stone which I’m finding pretty difficult. The habit of weighing myself on the scales each week is probably not as helpful as just putting on that pair of jeans that fit well and make you feel great.

I do believe I am now post menopausal and not on HRT, however I’m starting to feel some proper aches and pains and in particular, shoulder discomfort, and not knowing if I’ve overdone it in the gym or just suffering due to being 52 and my body is lacking in something, the last thing I want to do is stop and undo all my hard work, but then I don’t want to make things any worse.

I was wondering how many days do you workout and how many days do you rest?

I also agree with you that AJLT is pretty shocking, I’m happier watching Clarkson’s Farm 😀
