I love a beautiful bargain. Something that gives me an endorphin rush when I buy it but also a slow release of satisfaction because it performs so well over a prolonged period. I’m not into the pomp and nonsense of elaborate beauty halls where tissue paper, posh bags and ribbons amplify the retail experience because it always feels like padding, not unlike a Russian Doll, that ultimately ends up piled up by the bin needing to be recycled.
Anyway, you get the idea. I’m functional and though I like a little razzle-dazzle, I’m more likely to get excited about something that delivers over a prolonged period than the fanfare of packaging, first impressions and celebrity endorsements.
