I had breast reduction surgery six years ago and this is what I wish I’d done differently.
In July 2019 I had the breast reduction surgery I’d been wanting for years. Ever since I heard it was an option, from a friend when I was in my early twenties, I’d thought, ‘that would be amazing’.
It wasn’t just that my 36F breasts were heavy, uncomfortable and difficult to dress, I also felt that a part of me that should have been nice to look at was so misshapen and ugly that my instinct was to hide them.
I have never been so excited and also terrified about anything in my life and this is everything I wish I’d known before I went under the knife.
