I think I’ve discovered the ultimate ‘no makeup’ makeup and it’s just three products that all do exactly what you need them to do with minimal fuss and effort.
The base that holds the whole thing together is the Oskia Nutri-Bronze Adaptive Sheer Tinted Serum, £65. This gives glow, yes, but also evens out the complexion and is packed with hydrating ingredients, such as glycerin, hyaluronic acid and shea butter, for skin that looks as though it has been ‘perfected’ by sunlight. It also doesn’t pill with other layers, which is glorious.

The Merit Signature Lip Liner, £21, is sheer and hydrating but there is, pleasingly, a huge amount of pay-off and it doesn’t wear off with a lick of the lips. Here, I used the shade Beverly Hills but will likely reach for Bespoke next time I do this look.
Finally, it’s the Ilia Limitless Lash Mascara, £28, in Brown. Sometimes brown mascaras can go too far into brown making them appear almost invisible on most lashes, while others can go a little too brown/black so the effect is the same, or similar to a black mascara. This brown is pitched perfectly because it’s intense but definitely not black, so it enhances but doesn’t overpower, and the brush is fantastic of allowing you to get at every single lash no matter how short or stubby it might be.
I’m inclined to say this is less ‘no makeup’ makeup and more makeup with a light touch…
Let me know if you try any of these and what you think.
